Minnesota Victim Assistance Academy

The Minnesota Victim Assistance Academy (MNVAA) is a comprehensive, academically based training designed to improve the quality and consistency of victim services in Minnesota.

This annual training enhances the skills of victim assistance providers, victim advocates, law enforcement, criminal justice and others who work with crime victim survivors. The 40-hour curriculum uses a multi-disciplinary approach to build and strengthen trainees' capacity to serve those impacted by crime.
